As you learn more about what we can do for you, either by contacting us by email for more information or by downloading the PDF guide available on our Website, certain information will be collected.

 

We collect: your IP address, information provided by cookies or similar technologies, such as the type and version of the browser you use to access our Website, the page that brought you to our Website, the amount of time you spend on our Website, the pages you choose to visit, the time you spend on each page, the identity of your Internet service provider, and the date and time you access our Website. We also collect information such as your browser identification, its operating language, your operating system and your geographic location. Information about your activities on our Website, such as the sections you visit, is also collected.

 

Lastly, we collect your full name, email address, the name of the company on behalf of which you are contacting us, your role within that company, the approximate number of events you organize annually, the approximate number of tickets you issue for those events, the city you are located in, the name of the ticketing software you are currently using, the industry in which you work, and any information you voluntarily provide in your communications with us, through email or your interactions with our accounts on social media platforms.

 

Why: The collected data allows us to analyze how our Website is used and accessed, and is used to enhance its functionality and optimize it to better meet our users’ needs. The data we collect is also used to optimize, improve and market Tuxedo. In addition, we use this data to better understand your needs, offer you quality service when you first contact us, and help you easily find the information you are looking for.

 

The information collected by cookies does not allow us to personally identify you. You may choose to decline cookies through your web browser. However, should you decline cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts or features of our Website or Services.

 

APPLYING FOR A JOB

 

When you decide to apply to work with us, we ask you to provide certain personal information in order to process your application.

 

We collect: your first and last name, telephone number, email address, resume, details about your professional background and qualifications, any relevant references, and any other information provided in your application email.

 

Why: We use this information to review your application and provide a response, where necessary.

 

SUBSCRIBING TO TUXEDO

 

When you choose to purchase a Tuxedo user license from us, we collect certain information such as your first and last name, email address, the name and billing information of the company for which you are purchasing the license, and the name of the contact person at your company.

 

Why: We use this information to create your account and your login credentials so you can use Tuxedo, to facilitate the initial Tuxedo setup process and to contact you, as needed, for account-related inquiries. This information also allows us to bill you for using Tuxedo and to fulfill the contract between you and iCible.

 

Please note, however, that if you refuse to provide us with the requested personal information, we will be unable to create your account and allow you to use Tuxedo.

 

USING TUXEDO

 

When you use Tuxedo, we collect all the information you provide to us and make available through this platform, as well as any information obtained from your customers’ transactions on Tuxedo (as discussed in the next section of this Policy).

 

We collect: information such as details of the events you organize, including the name, location, date and time of these events, the types of tickets sold for them, cancellations, bundles, gift cards and other products you decide to make available through Tuxedo, the visuals and content uploaded to Tuxedo, the first and last names of your customers, their payment and billing information, the products they purchase, the total amount in sales or donations they make, and whether they agree to receive your newsletter.

 

Why: We use this information to provide the service you have requested and to fulfill our contractual obligations to you. This information also allows us to leverage Tuxedo’s features, including report generation and access to necessary information related to your customers’ transactions. Lastly, we use this information for statistical purposes, once it has been de-identified, and to determine the amount to be paid on a monthly basis for using Tuxedo.

 

PURCHASING TICKETS OR OTHER PRODUCTS USING OUR SERVICES

 

When you purchase tickets from a promoter using Tuxedo, we collect information such as your first and last name, email address, telephone number, billing address, gender, title and payment information.

 

Why: We use this information to process the transaction allowing for the purchase of tickets or other products made available by our customers through Tuxedo. We also share this information with customers with whom the transactions were made. Lastly, we collect this information in order to meet both our contractual obligations to our customers and our legal obligations.

 

Should you refuse to provide us with the requested personal information, we may not be able to fulfill your request and process your purchase.

 

CONTACTING OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT

 

You may wish to contact our customer service department should you have any issues or questions. During this process, we will collect information such as your first and last name, your email address and any other information needed to respond to your request.

 

Why: We use this information to identify you and respond to your inquiries or requests. We also collect this information to fulfill our contractual obligation to assist our customers in using Tuxedo.

In addition to the specific uses mentioned above, we generally use your data to:

  • Improve our Services by developing new features, conducting research and maintaining the current performance of our Services;
  • Provide you with the best possible customer service;

DATA STORAGE LOCATION

 

Your personal information is hosted locally on our servers and on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the United States.

 

RETENTION PERIOD OF YOUR DATA

 

We will retain all information collected for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or for other essential purposes, such as meeting legal obligations. We will destroy this data at the end of this period, or if you decide to withdraw your consent. In the latter case, once your data has been deleted, you will receive a confirmation that your request has been fulfilled.

 

SECURITY

 

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or inappropriately destroyed.

 

For example, our Services use HTTPS for communications, secured by an SSL certificate. We also ensure that only authorized individuals within our organization who need to access your information have access to it.
